A Man Taken His Own Life; May He Rest In Peace

 


An unsavoury story about a Black man from KwaZulu Natal who took his own life has gone viral on social media. Because of his passing, this terrible circumstance has arisen. His use of drugs and alcohol likely contributed to his downward spiral before he ended his own life. It was his stupid decision to get onto a moving vehicle that caused him to cry within seconds of the terrifying experience. He should have known better. He tripped and fell, landing uncomfortably on top of his head. It would seem that people are engrossed in declaring their love for each other to bother with penning letters of condolence. He drove in an extremely risky manner, clearly unconcerned with traffic laws. He utterly messed up, and it's sad because there are so many individuals in South Africa that are similar to him. Alcohol consumes him completely. Things did not work out the way he had hoped, so I can't help but laugh at him, even though I know we've lost a great guy. We have lost a great person, I know that. I beseech God to grant him eternal rest. His family has endured immense shame as a direct result of his behaviour. Despite the effects of alcohol on our behaviour, we must train ourselves to be responsible. He completely disregarded the people he cared about before he ever acted irresponsibly.
